Description

A quick and wholesome beef stir fry packed with colorful vegetables, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (like bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (grated)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and corn starch in a bowl. Toss to coat and marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the hot pan and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until browned. Remove beef and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir until fragrant, then toss in mixed vegetables. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the pan, stirring to combine, and cook for a final 2 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve over warm rice or noodles.

Notes

Marinate beef ahead of time for richer flavor. Mix and match vegetables as desired.
