Description

A comforting bowl of overnight oats infused with sweet brown sugar and ripe bananas, perfect for busy mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 4 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 34 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup mashed banana (approximately 2 ripe bananas)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (or more to taste)
  • 2 cups milk (or milk substitute of your choice)

Instructions

  1. Combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, brown sugar, mashed bananas, cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract, and milk in a large bowl. Stir until everything is well combined and creamy.
  2. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap, and place it in the refrigerator. Let it sit for at least 240 minutes or—better yet—overnight!
  3. Scoop out a portion into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings, like fresh fruits, nuts, or a drizzle of honey.

Notes

For added flavor, consider variations like Tropical Twist or Nutty Delight. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
