- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the butterscotch and chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a greased baking sheet.
- Sprinkle a little sea salt on top of each cookie.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. You can also freeze the dough for up to three months.
