Description

Crispy Chicken Caesar Sandwiches filled with seasoned chicken, creamy Caesar salad, and rich Parmesan cheese on soft bread.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup Caesar salad dressing (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 slices of soft bread (ciabatta, sourdough, or whole grain)
  • Optional: additional Caesar dressing for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to get that lovely golden crispiness going for your chicken.
  2. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Place the chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake it for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
  4. Prepare your Caesar salad by combining the chopped romaine lettuce, grated Parmesan, and Caesar dressing in a large bowl, then gently toss.
  5. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest before slicing it into strips.
  6. Layer crispy chicken strips onto the bread, then add a generous helping of Caesar salad. Drizzle more dressing on top if desired.
  7. Top with the other slice of bread, slice in half, and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicy twist, add sliced jalapeños or drizzle sriracha on the salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
