Description

A comforting and easy-to-make Chocolate Chip Banana Bread that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas until well combined.
  3. Mix in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
  4. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Gently mix in the flour until just incorporated.
  6. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan, smoothing the top gently.
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Wrap banana bread in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and store at room temperature for up to four days. You can also freeze it for longer-lasting freshness.
