Description

A cozy dessert that combines the irresistible flavors of creamy cheesecake and churros.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll your crescent roll dough onto a lightly greased 9×13-inch baking dish, creating an even layer.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine ½ cup of granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon. Sprinkle half over the dough.
  4. In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese, ¾ cup granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crescent dough, smoothing it out.
  6. Unroll the second package of crescent roll dough and place it on top of the cream cheese layer, sealing the seams. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  7. Drizzle melted butter over the top layer.
  8. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until golden and set. Allow to cool before slicing.

Notes

Make ahead for better flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
