A cozy and delightful cinnamon swirl banana bread that’s perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
- Mix in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
- Stir in the sugar, the egg, and the vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the flour until just combined; a few lumps are perfectly fine!
- Mix together the ground cinnamon and brown sugar for the swirl.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
- Top with the remaining batter and finish by sprinkling the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Swirl the mixtures into the batter with a knife for beautiful designs!
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For variations, consider adding nuts, chocolate chips, or berries for an extra twist!
