- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup cottage cheese, drained
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Drizzle a bit of olive oil in a baking dish to prevent sticking.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts side by side in the baking dish. Spoon the marinara sauce generously over each piece of chicken.
- Mix the cottage cheese with half of the mozzarella and half of the Parmesan. Spread this mixture evenly over the marinara-coated chicken.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley for an extra touch.
