Description

A cozy, comfort food lasagna filled with layers of turkey bacon, ground beef, and rich cheeses, perfect for chilly evenings.


Ingredients

  • Lasagna noodles
  • Ground beef
  • Turkey bacon
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Garlic
  • Marinara sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Onion
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then set aside on paper towels to drain.
  4. In the same skillet, add ground beef and chopped onion; cook until browned.
  5. Add minced garlic, marinara sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning; stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese and Parmesan cheese together until creamy.
  7. In a baking dish, layer: noodles, meat sauce, crispy turkey bacon, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of mozzarella on top.
  9. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
