Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 1/2 to 3 cups all-purpose flour

  3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mix. Stir until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5–7 minutes, adding more flour as needed until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  7. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer to a pizza pan.
  8. Add your favorite toppings and bake for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
