Description

Cozy roasted cabbage steaks seasoned with garlic, olive oil, and topped with Parmesan cheese, perfect for easy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Balsamic vinegar for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Slice the cabbage into thick steaks (about 1 inch each) to retain their structure.
  3. Arrange the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet, lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  4. Drizzle olive oil generously over the cabbage and sprinkle with minced garlic, salt, and pepper to taste.
  5. Roast in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through until edges are crispy and golden.
  6. Remove the cabbage from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese while it’s still hot, allowing it to slightly melt.
  7. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar before serving and enjoy your flavorful roasted cabbage steaks!

Notes

Make in advance by slicing and storing the cabbage steaks in an airtight container. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
