- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp ginger, grated
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped green onions, and a pinch of salt in a large bowl.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, cornstarch, and ginger in another bowl.
- Toss the broccoli florets with olive oil and salt, placing them on the same baking sheet.
- Brush the meatballs generously with the sauce, then bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles, drizzling with remaining sauce.
Notes
Make-ahead friendly; prepare meatballs in advance and store in the fridge. Can freeze extra meatballs for up to 3 months.
