Quick and crispy air-fryer chicken breast recipe perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, shaking off any excess, then dip into the beaten egg, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  4. Coat each chicken breast with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently so it sticks well.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the chicken breasts inside.
  6. Spray the tops of the chicken with a bit more cooking spray.
  7. Cook for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
  8. Serve hot, with your favorite dipping sauce or a side of veggies.

Notes

Consider slicing the chicken breasts horizontally for even cooking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
