Description

Crispy and tender air fryer chicken tenders, perfect for a family-friendly meal or a cozy snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast tenders
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Beat the eggs until light and frothy in another bowl.
  4. Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  5. Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then dip in the eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the tenders in a single layer.
  7. Spray the tops of the tenders lightly with cooking spray.
  8. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra texture, try combining grated Parmesan cheese with the breadcrumbs. You can also prepare the chicken tenders a day ahead and store them in the fridge before cooking.
