A delightful twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich with crispy turkey bacon and creamy guacamole.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread (your choice of whole grain, sourdough, or white)
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 2 strips of cooked turkey bacon
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter (for grilling)
Instructions
- Mash the avocado and mix in lime juice, salt, and pepper to create guacamole.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer the cheese, bacon, and guacamole on the unbuttered side of one slice.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet.
- Grill until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Cut in half and serve warm.
Notes
For the best flavor, make the guacamole right before assembling and use a serrated knife for slicing.
