Description

Crispy and creamy Bacon Jalapeño Popper Egg Rolls that are easy to make and perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • 6 slices of turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, cooked turkey bacon, and diced jalapeños in a mixing bowl until well mixed.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface, corner facing you, and spoon about 2 tablespoons of filling in the center.
  3. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tuck it in, then fold the sides in, and roll tightly to seal.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

You can prepare these egg rolls ahead of time and freeze them. Fry from frozen with an extra minute of cooking time.
