Description

These Baked Chickpea Chips are a gluten-free, healthier alternative to traditional chips, offering a delightful crunch and customizable flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 80 grams chickpea flour
  • 140 grams water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Chopped fresh herbs or spices (such as garlic powder, paprika, or rosemary)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200C (or 400F).
  2. Combine the chickpea flour, water, and salt in a mixing bowl, whisking until smooth.
  3. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  4. Spoon the batter onto the parchment, spreading it into thin circles.
  5. Sprinkle with your choice of herbs or spices.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, until golden and lightly browned.
  7. Let them cool for 15 to 20 minutes before removing from the parchment.
  8. Serve with dips or enjoy on their own!

Notes

These chips are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days, though they will lose their crispiness. You can prepare the batter ahead of time and keep it in the fridge.
