Description

A cozy and comforting BBQ Chicken Pizza topped with tangy BBQ sauce, tender chicken, and gooey mozzarella cheese, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1/3 cup BBQ sauce, plus 2 tablespoons
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F.
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a greased pizza pan or baking sheet and brush edges with olive oil.
  4. Toss the cooked chicken breast with 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce until coated.
  5. Spread the remaining BBQ sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  6. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the BBQ sauce.
  7. Distribute the BBQ chicken pieces and sliced red onions evenly over the cheese.
  8. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh cilantro before serving.
