Description

A delightful twist on the classic BLT sandwich, featuring crispy turkey bacon, ripe tomatoes, and creamy avocado, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of turkey bacon
  • 1 cup of fresh lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mayonnaise (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.
  2. Toast the slices of bread until golden brown and slightly crunchy.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread, if desired.
  4. Add lettuce on one slice of bread, followed by sliced tomatoes, avocado, and crispy turkey bacon.
  5. Season with salt and pepper for added flavor.
  6. Top with another slice of bread, mayo side down, to create the sandwich.
  7. Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.

Notes

Make ahead by cooking turkey bacon in advance and storing in the refrigerator. Best enjoyed fresh.
