- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices of turkey bacon
- 1 cup of fresh lettuce leaves
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.
- Toast the slices of bread until golden brown and slightly crunchy.
- Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread, if desired.
- Add lettuce on one slice of bread, followed by sliced tomatoes, avocado, and crispy turkey bacon.
- Season with salt and pepper for added flavor.
- Top with another slice of bread, mayo side down, to create the sandwich.
- Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
Notes
Make ahead by cooking turkey bacon in advance and storing in the refrigerator. Best enjoyed fresh.
