This easy pulled chicken recipe is perfect for weekday dinners or lazy Sundays, delivering sweet and smoky flavors effortlessly.

- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, with fat trimmed off
- 1 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup Italian dressing
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Spray the inside of a large crockpot or slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, and place them in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Whisk together the barbecue sauce, Italian dressing, light brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl.
- Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
- Cover with the lid and cook on high for 150-180 minutes or low for 300-360 minutes.
- Shred the chicken in the crockpot with two forks once fully cooked and tender.
- Serve on soft buns or enjoy in salads, tacos, or on its own!
Notes
Make-ahead advice: Store the seasoned chicken and sauce mixture in the fridge overnight. You can substitute chicken thighs for a richer flavor.
