Description

These Best French Dip Sliders are a cozy twist on a classic sandwich, featuring tender roast beef, sweet caramelized onions, and gooey provolone cheese on fluffy Hawaiian rolls.

Ingredients

  • Deli roast beef (thinly sliced, about 1 lb)
  • Caramelized onions (about 1 cup)
  • Provolone cheese (8 slices)
  • King’s Hawaiian rolls (1 pack)
  • Au jus (for dipping, store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the King’s Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. Layer the deli roast beef evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls.
  4. Add the sweet, caramelized onions on top of the beef.
  5. Place provolone cheese slices generously over the onions.
  6. Cover with the top halves of the rolls.
  7. Brush melted butter over the top rolls, if desired.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
  9. Serve warm alongside a small bowl of au jus for dipping.

Notes

Feel free to add BBQ sauce for a tangy twist, swap cheese, or make a vegetarian option with roasted veggies.
