A refreshing and easy pasta salad combining the classic flavors of Caprese for a perfect summer dish.
Ingredients

- 2 cups pasta (fusilli or penne)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls, halved
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil and cook the pasta according to package directions. Once tender, drain and let cool.
- Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, gently mix the cooled pasta with the halved cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and chopped basil.
- Prepare the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Dress the Salad: Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss gently to combine.
- Serve and Enjoy: Best served chilled or at room temperature.
