Description

Indulge in warm and creamy Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars that perfectly capture the essence of fall with every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Blend well, then press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
  3. Beat the softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Gradually add the sugar, mixing until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time while continuing to mix. Then stir in the vanilla extract until everything is beautifully blended.
  5. Fold in the diced apples and cinnamon, incorporating the warmth of those flavors. Pour this cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  6. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake layer, allowing it to create a marbled effect.
  7. Bake for about 35-40 minutes, or until the center is gently set and the edges appear slightly golden.
  8. Cool the bars completely before refrigerating for a few hours to firm up.
  9. Slice into bars and serve with an extra drizzle of caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

These bars can be made a day in advance for better flavor. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
