- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Combine the chocolate cake mix, cocoa powder, vegetable oil, eggs, and water in a large bowl. Mix until smooth and well blended.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together in another bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture onto the cake batter, then swirl gently with a knife.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips generously over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let the cake cool slightly before serving.
