Description

A rich and indulgent chocolate cake with a creamy cream cheese swirl, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the chocolate cake mix, cocoa powder, vegetable oil, eggs, and water in a large bowl. Mix until smooth and well blended.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together in another bowl until smooth and creamy.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture onto the cake batter, then swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips generously over the top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Let the cake cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For neat slices, use a sharp knife dipped in hot water. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
