- 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the turkey bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside, leaving the grease behind.
- Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Add the fresh green beans to the skillet and toss them gently in the sauce to coat.
- Cook the green beans for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
- Stir in the crispy turkey bacon and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
