Description

Ingredients

  • 12 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef or sausage and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce, heavy cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook tortellini according to package instructions, then add to the skillet and stir to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese, allowing them to create a golden crust.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
