- 12 oz cheese tortellini
- 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef or sausage and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the marinara sauce, heavy cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cook tortellini according to package instructions, then add to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
- Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese, allowing them to create a golden crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
