Description

A warm and comforting bowl of crispy ground beef over fluffy rice, drizzled with creamy gochujang broth, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 cup rice (white or brown)
  • ½ cup cottage cheese
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 cup water or broth

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until it’s beautifully browned and caramelized.
  2. Prepare the rice according to package instructions.
  3. Combine cottage cheese with gochujang and water or broth in a blender. Blend until smooth and velvety.
  4. Pour the mixture into a pot and warm it over low heat, stirring gently.
  5. Assemble your bowl: start with a layer of rice, top with the crispy ground beef, and drizzle with gochujang broth.
  6. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste, and enjoy!

Notes

Make-ahead: Cook the beef and prepare the broth ahead of time. Store in airtight containers in the fridge for up to three days.
