Description

A quick and vibrant side dish featuring tender-crisp broccoli in a savory garlic sauce, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Toss in the 1 lb of broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  4. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce (if using), and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over the broccoli.
  5. Stir well to combine and allow to cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
  8. Serve warm as a side dish.
