- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 2 large tomatoes, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- Balsamic glaze (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Place slices of mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken to melt during the last few minutes of grilling.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.
- Top with fresh tomato slices and basil leaves.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired.
- Serve warm and enjoy every bite!
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in olive oil and herbs a few hours before grilling.
