Description

A comforting dessert featuring a buttery crust and sweet peaches, perfect for family gatherings and cozy evenings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can peach slices (in syrup or juice)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon (for sprinkling, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the melted butter into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, milk, baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish (do not stir).
  5. Drain the canned peaches and distribute the peach slices over the batter. If desired, sprinkle with cinnamon for an extra layer of flavor.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the filling is bubbly.
  7. Serve warm, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream for that divine touch.

Notes

Customize the cobbler by adding nuts, berries, or different fruits. Great for make-ahead options.
