Description

Warm and fluffy Greek Yogurt Waffles, perfect for a cozy breakfast with family.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 cup milk or milk alternative
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
  2. Mix the Greek yogurt, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined in another bowl.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined — be careful not to overmix.
  4. Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Lightly grease the waffle maker if necessary, then pour the batter into the center.
  6. Cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.
  7. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  8. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings or let cool and freeze for later use.

Notes

For the crispiest results, reheat frozen waffles in the toaster instead of the microwave.
