Quick and delicious Ground Turkey Rice Bowls topped with creamy Bang Bang Sauce, perfect for any weeknight dinner.

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 2–3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tsp grated ginger
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
- 1–2 Tbsp sriracha
- 2–3 Tbsp chicken broth
- 2 tsp honey
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- ½ c mayonnaise
- 3 Tbsp sweet chili sauce
- ½–1 Tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp honey
- Rice (for serving)
- Shredded carrots
- Sliced cucumbers
- Shelled edamame
- Pickled onions
- Avocado
- Shredded cabbage
- Sliced green onion
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
- Prep Bang Bang Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and honey. Chill until ready to serve.
- Prepare the Ground Turkey Mixture: Over medium-high heat, drizzle sesame oil into a large skillet. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Add Seasonings: Reduce heat to medium-low, then add garlic, ginger, paprika, onion powder, soy sauce, sriracha, chicken broth, honey, black pepper, and salt. Stir to combine and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Thicken the Mixture: Sprinkle cornstarch over the turkey mixture and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Assemble Rice Bowls: Start with rice, layer on veggies, spoon over ground turkey mixture, then drizzle with Bang Bang Sauce. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. For a fluffy rice base, rinse your rice before cooking.
