Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture, mixing well.
  5. Stir in the oats, coconut, pecans, and chocolate chips until evenly combined.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  8. Cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
