- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup mini peanut butter cups (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Mix the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add this to the wet ingredients.
- Create the brownie base by pouring half the batter into the prepared pan and dolloping peanut butter on top.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter and swirl with a knife.
- Add the mini peanut butter cups on top by gently pressing them into the batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before slicing into squares.
