Description

A refreshing and vibrant drink made with fresh strawberries, zesty lemons, and a hint of vanilla, perfect for summer days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 13 tablespoons honey or agave syrup (to taste)
  • Ice for serving
  • Lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Hull and slice the strawberries.
  2. Blend the hulled strawberries, cold water, fresh lemon juice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Taste and sweeten with honey or agave syrup to your preference.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve if desired.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Serve in glasses filled with ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint.

Notes

Make ahead and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Use frozen strawberries if fresh ones aren’t available.
