Description

A comforting blend of sweet strawberries, creamy layers, and a delightful salty crunch that feels like a hug in dessert form.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 package (6 oz) strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the crushed pretzels, 1/2 cup of sugar, and melted butter in a medium bowl. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish. Bake for 8-10 minutes, then let cool completely.
  3. Beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping and spread this creamy mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  4. Combine the sliced strawberries and the remaining 1 cup sugar in a saucepan. Add the strawberry gelatin and mix well. Pour the boiling water over the mixture, stirring until fully dissolved. Allow this to cool until slightly thickened.
  5. Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer, spreading it evenly. Refrigerate until set, about 120-240 minutes.
  6. Serve chilled and enjoy the delightful layers with your loved ones.
