Description

A delightful, no-bake Strawberry Shortcake Dessert made with layers of luscious pudding, sweet strawberries, and tender shortcake shells.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tub of whipped topping
  • 1 box of shortcake shells or ladyfinger cookies

Instructions

  1. Combine sliced strawberries and sugar in a bowl. Let sit for about 10 minutes to release juices.
  2. Whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk in another bowl until thickened.
  3. Fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture, creating a silky blend.
  4. Layer the shortcake shells or ladyfingers in a serving dish, filling the base with a golden layer.
  5. Add a layer of the pudding mixture on top followed by a vibrant layer of strawberries.
  6. Repeat the layers until the dish is filled, finishing with a layer of strawberries on top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving to meld the flavors.

Notes

Prepare a day in advance for richer flavor. Use high-quality strawberries for the best taste.
