Description

A refreshing salad featuring vibrant tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, and sharp red onions, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 large tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar (red wine or apple cider)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional, such as parsley or dill)

Instructions

  1. Combine in a large bowl the diced tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and thinly sliced red onion.
  2. Whisk together in a separate small bowl the olive oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  3. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss gently to coat.
  4. Add fresh herbs if using and mix again.
  5. Let the salad marinate for about 15-30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes
