Description

A refreshing and creamy tzatziki sauce made with Greek yogurt, cucumber, and fragrant herbs, perfect for dipping or as a sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1½ cups cucumber, grated
  • 2 tablespoons dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon mint, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Grate the cucumber using a box grater.
  2. Drain the grated cucumber to remove excess liquid.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  4. Mix until well combined and adjust salt if necessary.
  5. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Serve with pita or chips, drizzled with olive oil.

Notes

Tzatziki tastes even better when made a day in advance. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
