Description
A refreshing and creamy tzatziki sauce made with Greek yogurt, cucumber, and fragrant herbs, perfect for dipping or as a sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1½ cups cucumber, grated
- 2 tablespoons dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon mint, chopped (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Grate the cucumber using a box grater.
- Drain the grated cucumber to remove excess liquid.
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
- Mix until well combined and adjust salt if necessary.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve with pita or chips, drizzled with olive oil.
Notes
Tzatziki tastes even better when made a day in advance. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
